On the Feast of the Radiant Resurrection of Christ His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent greetings to heads of foreign states of the Orthodox tradition, in particular, to President of Greece Prokopios Pavlopoulos, President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, President of North Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, and President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović. The text of the message is given below.

CHRIST IS RISEN!

Please accept my cordial greetings with the Holy Pascha.

Celebrating today the resurrection of the Lord from the dead, we glorify “God and Father… which… hath begotten us again… by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Pet 1:3).

On these days of Paschal celebrations the hearts of millions of believers are filled with radiant joy that they share with those far and near, performing deeds of love and mercy and taking care of those in need of attention, support and sympathy.

I wish you good health and cheer, help from the Lord and success in your responsible ministry.

Yours sincerely,

+KIRILL
