His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has sent the following greeting to His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav of the Czech Lands and Slovakia with the anniversary of his enthronement:

Your Beatitude, beloved brother and concelebrant at God’s Throne:

I wholeheartedly greet you with the anniversary of your enthronement.

Being the youngest among the Primates of the Local Orthodox Churches, you are carrying out this high ministry with honour, instructing the people of God in the truths of Holy Orthodoxy and ‘from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith’ (1 Tim 1:5) imparting to your flock the teaching that has been brought to the Czech Lands and Slovakia by the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius Equal-to-the-Apostles.

On this solemn day I prayerfully wish you good health, courage and almighty aid of Christ the Saviour in your peaceful and blessed primatial labours for many years.

With brotherly love in the Lord,

+KIRILL
