His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia congratulated His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia on his Krsna Slava.

His Holiness Irinej, Archbishop of Peć, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovci, Serbian Patriarch

Your Holiness, beloved Brother and Concelebrant at God’s Altar:

Please accept my cordial greetings with the Day of Krsna Slava.

Your Holiness hold your spiritual celebration when the Church commemorates the raising of the Righteous Lazarus. As a prelude to His crucifixion and granting divine forgiveness to all (cf. Canon of the Lazarus Saturday, Oikos), the Lord Jesus Christ performed this great miracle on His way to Jerusalem, where He was about to endure sufferings and crucifixion and gloriously rise from the dead.

Joining the prayers lifted up for you today by all the faithful children of the Serbian Orthodox Church, I wish you peace and blessed bodily and spiritual strength, so that you may, with the heart full of radiant and unceasing joy, celebrate the coming Pascha of Christ.

With brotherly love in the Lord,

+KIRILL
