On October 21, 2020, a Panikhida was celebrated for the departed Metropolitan Theodosius (Lazor), former Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, at the Church of St. Catherine In-the-Fields in Moscow.

The Service for the Departed was led by Archpriest Daniel Andreyuk, representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia and rector of the church. He was assisted by Archimandrite Philaret (Bulekov), vice-chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations; Archimandrite Seraphim (Shemyatovski). Representative of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia; and Archpriest Christopher Hill, a cleric of the Church of St. Catherine In-the-Fields.

Archimandrite Philaret read out messages of condolences from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, and Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations.

Archpriest Daniel Andreyuk read out a message of condolences upon the demise of Metropolitan Theodosius sent by His Beatitude Tikhon, Metropolitan of All America and Canada.
