On November 11, 2021, the International Conference of the Conciliarity of the Church: Theological, Canonical and Historical Dimensions is held in the Kiev Lavra of the Caves. It is chaired by His Beatitude Onufriy, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine.

A message of greetings to the organizers and participants of the forum was sent by His Beatitude Tikhon, Metropolitan of All America and Canada.

“Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ compares the Kingdom of God to a grain of mustard seed which, though small, grows to become the greatest among trees (cf. Mt. 13:31-32). St. Paul exhorts us that it is possible to plant, it is possible to water but it is God Who gives the increase (cf, 1 Cor. 3:6-8). So, we in we Orthodox Church of America continue making our contribution to the cause of unity of the Church of God in accordance with the apostolic Tradition, including the principle of conciliarity”, the letter of the Primate o the Orthodox Church in America reads, “We pray for an increase in all our efforts for a fuller communion between the faithful, for the prosperity of the Divine Kingdom, and in all this we rely on God Who works miracles and grants “the peace which transcends all understanding” (Phil. 4:7)”.
