On November 14, 2021, the 21st Sunday after Pentecost, the community of the Russian Orthodox Church Beirut Representation led by rector Archimandrite Philipp (Vasiltsev), at the invitation of Metropolitan Anthony of Zahle and Baalbek and Metropolitan Niphon of Philippople, representative of the Patriarch of Antioch to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, made a pilgrimage to the city of Zahle, Lebanon.
 
During the Sunday Liturgy at the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Zahle, His Eminence Anthony and His Eminence Niphon were assisted by Archimandrite Philipp (Vasiltsev) and the diocesan clergy.
 
The liturgy was celebrated in Arabic and Church Slavonic.
 
The sermon on the Sunday Gospel Reading was delivered by Metropolitan Anthony of Zahle and Baalbek.
 
After the dismissal, the rector of the representation warmly greeted Metropolitans Anthony and Philipp and thanked them for their assistance and participation in the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the representation of the Russian Orthodox Church.
 
Archimandrite Philipp also congratulated the hierarchs on another anniversary of their episcopal consecrations and presented them with commemorative gifts.
