Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem and its metochions celebrate anniversary of Patriarch Kirill’s enthronement

On February 1, 2022, the Russian Orthodox Church celebrated the thirteenth anniversary of the enthronement of its Primate – His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

A moleben of thanksgiving was celebrated at the Church of the Holy Martyr Alexandra the Empress in the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem by Hegumen Nikon (Golovko), secretary of the Mission, and Hieromonk Afanasy (Bukin), treasurer of the Mission.

Thanksgiving molebens honouring the anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill’s enthronement were also celebrated at the Gorny Convent in Ein Karem and at the metochions of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission – the Church of St. Peter and Righteous Tabitha in Tel Aviv, the Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah in Haifa, the Church of the Holy Forefathers in Hebron, and the metochion at the site of the Baptism of Jesus Christ in Jordan.
