On April 30, 2022, supporters of the schismatic “OCU” tried to seize the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God at the Yasinya urban settlement in the Trans-Carpathian region.

Raiders brought their activists to the territory of the church and began breaking over the church doors, stated the dean of the Yasinya district of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Diocese of Khust, Archpriest Vitaliy Kemin. Inside the church and outside it there were, in each place, from ten to fifteen members of the community of the canonical Church.

As the Union of Orthodox Journalists reports, the police, which pulled up to the church, managed to shove the attackers away from the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God.
