On April 22, 2023, supporters of the schismatic ‘Orthodox Church of Ukraine’ captured a church dedicated to the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God, in the village of Trebukhov in the Diocese of Borispol.

As the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Information-Education Department reports, the ‘OCU’ activists were helped in raiding the church by persons in military uniform.

Parishioners tried to hinder the culprits while the police did nothing. The children and women of the community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, under the protection of a few men, took shelter in the refectory in which a worship service was held.

Moreover, the ‘OCU’ aggressive supporters, together with the persons in military uniform, attempted to seize the priest’s house in which there were minors.
