In the evening of December 10, 2021, a festive concert was given at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of its consecration.

Metropolitan Anthony of Chersonesus and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, greeted the listeners.

Mr. Leonid Yu. Kadyshev, director of the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre read out an address of welcome from of H.E Alexey Yu. Menshov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the French Republic. 

Attending the concert were employees of the Mayor’s office, Russian diplomats, staff of the Chersonesus diocesan administration, dignitaries of Russian emigration, public figures, journalists, teachers of Sunday schools and educational centre at the Russian Centre on the Branly Embankment, clergymen and lay persons of the Diocese of Chersonesus, as well as many guests.

A large episcopal choir of the Cathedral conducted by Ms Marina Politova presented a programme dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the consecration of the Cathedral and the upcoming Feast of the Nativity of Christ. The concert programme included liturgical hymns and canticles praising the Infant born in Bethlehem in different languages. At the end of the concert the episcopal choir was joined by a large children’s choir of the Sunday school at the Trinity Cathedral conducted by Ms Irina Fanina.

On December 4, 2016, the Feast of the Presentation of the Holy Virgin in the Temple, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia consecrated the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Paris.  The Cathedral is a landmark of the complex of buildings of the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre located on the bank of the River Seine.
