On August 11, 2019, supporters of the so-called Orthodox Church in Ukraine together with three ‘priests’ of this structure unlawfully got into the Ukrainian Orthodox Church’s church of the Protecting Veil by cutting off its locks and waged a fight in it, Pravoslavnaya zhizn reports.

According to a report from the UOC Information-Education Department, the villains deliberately came to the church knowing that on this day its rector would celebrate in another church. They began breaking the door and then got in and locked themselves up.

When parishioners appeared, the villains began twisting their hands and beating them up right in the church.

The community reported to the police that fact of unlawful penetration into a church building and premeditated injuries on parishioners.
